Meet Amanda Welsh, founder of MacMarketing Services
With over 20 years of experience, leadership, and network building with a cooperative, collaborative style and a commitment to doing work that has a real impact on the world, I founded MacMarketing Services based on an emerging unmet need I've observed in the marketing industry.
Marketing and media teams are always in demand and busy! Whether they are in-house or agency side, there are never enough hours in the day to get the job done. Often the most cost-effective solution is to hire expert, flexible, on-demand "reinforcements" to take projects from concept through to completion. This unmet need is what motivated me to launch MacMarketing Services.
I am a creative, results-driven marketing professional with experience in integrated marketing strategy, campaign management, implementation, and measurement/analytics. I have vast knowledge and expertise in building, growing, and leading organizations to create award-winning, successful marketing campaigns in non-profit and commercial industries.
My career began at Digitas in the early 1990s, where I gained unparalleled experience in the direct/digital marketing industry, working across various clients and industries. Following my 12-year career with Digitas, I built and led teams at the National Fire Protection Association, Decibel Media, Brigham & Women's Hospital, Thompson Habib Denison, Blitz Media, Forge Worldwide, and Crunch Brands.
When I'm not working, you can find me hiking, biking, running, surfing, skiing, snowboarding, and traveling with my husband Jamie, daughters Michaela & Madison, and Goldendoodles Luna Bella and Whiskey. In addition, I'm an active, passionate advocate and fundraiser supporting Autism Speaks and other autism organizations that fund research and support for the autism community in honor of my daughter Michaela.
